Water education program has been developed as a cross-sectional education fields. It is mainly carried out in both after-school activities and school education curriculum in Japan. We evaluated the efficiencies of water education from the cross-cutting and longitudinal points' of view.
First, we researched to know how the youth in the world-wide correctly know the water related issues, among the participants of the 4th youth world water forum.
Secondly, we researched to know how effectively inter-generational exchanges has been carried out in the water-related activities field continuously among the participants and facilitators of the "Children's world water forum follow-up meeting".
From both researches, we could not verify that the water related education has been effectively carried out and exchanged. We assumed the causes of these problems are the lack of chances to get the continuous learning skills. We expect that the "hours for comprehensive studies'' can qualify to learn the water issues world-wide and bridge the inter-generational exchanges.
